The Workbench

Commercial workbenches and workstations are pieces of furniture, like any office desk or chair, except workbenches and workstations are specialist furniture designed and manufactured for a single specific task. Whether the task be packing products for dispatch via mail or courier or assembly of electrical goods, the commercial workbench or workstation is built in accordance with each clients requirements.

Workbenches are available as static, semi mobile or mobile. Static workbenches as the name suggests stand on the floor surface with no option to move. Semi Mobile workbenches have two varieties. Firstly, there are semi mobile workbenches which have wheels at one end and stands at the other allowing the user to lift one end up to move. The other variety has a specially designed subframe which can be lowered to move the workbench. Mobile workbenches as the name suggest are fitted with wheels to all legs allowing the benches to be moved when required. Each wheel has a brake fitted to ensure the workbench does not move when in use.

Workbenches and workstations are an integral part of the workshop environment. Other equipment available to compliment these products are tool cupboards and drawer units and seating.
